- Tell me, how did you end up in Olympique?.
- As soon as I learned that FC Poltava ceased to exist, I immediately started looking for a new team. Received an offer from Olimpic, interested in the fact that the Donetsk people themselves took the initiative. There were a couple more options, but Olympique acted more decisively.
- Did you follow the performances of the team earlier?.
- Specifically for the club did not attend, watched matches ULL in general. When the offer came, he began to study the team in more detail. Watched some games.
- Your new coach, Stanislav Tishchenko, was prepared by Zauri Makharadze. This fact was taken into account before making a decision?.
- Yes, I used to read Stanislav Nikolayevich's interview. Here they give way to the young, this also played a role. For me, this is a new challenge, it's interesting to work with a new coach, learn for myself something new. I worked in Poltava with Gennady Konstantinovich Tarasyuk, you can say he formed me as a goalkeeper. His contribution to my progress is greatest.
- What are your first impressions of working in a new team and with a new coach?.
- I gradually get sucked, everything is fine. The administration of the club creates all conditions for the football player to be comfortable. I am happy with everything. The staff is good with us, many young guys. So far everything is going easy.
- FC "Poltava" spent a good last season, and you got a lot of flattering reviews about your game in the press. Which match became special for you?.
- Of course, the most memorable were butt games with "Chernomorets". And so, I spent the whole season trying to tune in to games, both on the last.
- The disappearance of "Poltava" from the football map of the country was an unpleasant surprise?.
- Oh sure. The day before the first gathering, we were informed about this. Everybody was in shock. I still can not believe that this happened.
- How did you start your way in football?.
- Initially I played in the field, but it did not turn out very well. Once we went to play for school, I decided to try myself at the gate. Gradually moved up the stairs, played in the Sports School. And then by some miracle he was in the Kharkov Higher School of Physical Culture. I was attracted by coaches, recommended there. There he played in DUFL. The school had an agreement with Metallist, but I did not go to them. Then he went to Poltava, went through a viewing in Vorskla (U-19), but then a variant appeared with FC Poltava. Decided that it is better to go to the team of the first league. This is an adult football, you need to progress. I knew that I would not play there initially, but in this club I was able to gain more experience.
- Who did you care for as a child?.
- I always liked Iker Casillas. On the line is wonderful David De Gea, well, and Neuer before his injury - he is number one in the world.
And of the Ukrainian goalkeepers in the style of the game, I would mention Andrei Lunin, I like him.
- Which of the goalkeepers is the best at the current world championships?.
- For the goalkeepers, this championship became stable, there were few mistakes, as in the previous mundiale, for example. Each goalie distinguished himself in his own way. Casper Schmeichel pulled his team. Allocating someone is difficult, I will say about disappointment: David De Gea did not show the level that he has.
