Ukrainian defender Yevgeny Opanasenko will continue his career in the Turkish Konyaspor.

Konyaspor acquired the defender Eugene Opanasenko from Zarya, the official website of the Turkish club.

The agreement with the 27-year-old Ukrainian is designed for two years with the possibility of an extension for another season. Transfer amount is not disclosed.

"I am very happy to transfer to Konyaspor. I will do my best to help the club return to European competition. I think next season will be extremely bright and exciting for our club, "- said Opanasenko.

Opanasenko is a pupil of the Zaporizhzhya Metallurgist, who performed until 2014.

After that, he spent half the season in Chernomorets, and in February 2015 he moved to Zarya.

In total for Luhansk, Opanasenko played 93 games in which he scored eight goals, got 12 yellow and one red card.

In the composition of Konyaspor, which last season took 15th place in the standings, Eugene will act as number 39.
