World champion Adil Rami will no longer compete for the French national team.
Rami in the national team of France won the gold World Cup 2018, so never appeared on the field.
After the final, Adil announced his retirement in the national team.
"The performances for the French national team are over for me," Rami told TF1.
In an interview with RMC Sport, he added: "Even though I did not play, I had to be ready all the time to play 90 minutes".
"I trained twice a day. Our team is just incredible, I have no words for this. The atmosphere was extraordinary ".
"I have never seen the French team with such an atmosphere that every day there was so much joy in it - even after the matches and before them. It's fine".
Ramy made his debut for France in 2010 and has since spent three tri-color 35 fights.
