Legendary Pele expressed his joy that another teenager scored in the World Cup Finals.
France beat Croatia 4-2 and for the second time in history became world champion.
One of these goals was scored by Kilian Mbappa, recognized as the best young player of the tournament.
Prior to the PSG striker, the only teenager who scored in the final of the mundial was Pele.
"Only the second teenager who scored a goal in the World Cup final! Welcome to the club, Mbagpe - it's great that I now have a company!", Pele wrote on Twitter.
Also at the age of 19 and 207 days, Mbagpa became the third youngest player in the World Cup finals, behind only Pele (17 years 249 days, FIFA World Cup 1958) and Giuseppe Bergomi (18 years of 201 days, 1982 World Cup).
