Real Madrid midfielder Luca Modric commented on Cristiano Ronaldo's transfer to Juventus.
Cristiano Ronaldo moved to Juventus after nine years in Madrid. When the media only heard rumors about the transfer, Luka Modric expressed the assumption that Ronaldo will remain in Real Madrid.
"I said that Ronaldo will stay because he wanted this, and not because he knew something," said Modric.
"Cristiano is unique, and it's unfortunate that he left. I wish him all the best, but not in the matches against Real Madrid. Thank you for everything he has done for us ".
Modric in the Croatian national team is preparing for the final of the world championship against France, which will be held on July 15.
