Croatian national team defender Domagoi Vida assured that he did not want to weave politics after the victory over Russia.

Croatia defeated Russia (2: 2 and 4: 3 in the penalty shootout series) and reached the semifinal of the 2018 World Cup.

After the match Domagoi Vida, who scored one of the goals, and also realized the penalty shoot-out, said "Glory to Ukraine!".
