The head coach of England Gareth Southgate spoke about the achievements of his team and the next opponent.

"We made progress, but have not yet achieved the desired result. All players crave success, but recognize what else they are learning. Match with Columbia taught them a lot. But we want more and we are not going to stop there, "said Southgate.

"I really respect the Swedish team, it has its own face. And it shows excellent results, unlike more powerful teams. I played against the Swedes and watched a lot of their performances at various tournaments. They prefer a smaller opponent to own the ball. We will need to show very good football to win on Saturday ".

Match 1/4 finals of the World Cup 2018 between the national teams of Sweden and England will be held on July 7. Beginning of the meeting at 17:00 Kyiv time.
