Chernomorets were included in the Premier League participants of the 2018/19 season, the official website of the Football Federation of Ukraine.

The FFU Executive Committee, having considered the proposal of the ULL clubs to include Chernomorets in the competition in the 2018/19 season, decided to support this proposal and recognize Chernomorets as a participant in the ULP championship in the 2018/19 season.

Recall that in the last season Chernomorets lost to Poltava in the playoff games for a place in the ULL. Nevertheless, later the leadership of the Poltava club first sent a letter about the withdrawal from the competition, and then decided to dissolve the team.
