Arsenal completed the acquisition of defender Sokratis Papastathopoulos from Dortmund Borussia.

Central defender Socratis Papastathopoulos moved from Borussia D to Arsenal, the official website of the "Gunners".

Clubs do not disclose details of the transition, but, according to media reports, the 30-year-old Greek cost the London club at 19 million euros.

Socrates is a pupil of the AEK, and also played for Nicky Volos, Genoa, Milan and Werder, and then in the summer of 2013 for an amount of about 10 million euros joined the Dortmund.
