Midfielder of the Spanish national team Thiago Alcantara commented on the upcoming match of the 1/8 finals of the 2018 World Cup.
Team Spain in its group at the World Cup took first place and in the 1/8 finals went to the hosts.
"This will be a blow if we can not beat Russia and reach the quarterfinals of the tournament," - quotes Tiago Football Federation of Spain.
"We have 23 people who are ready to go out and fight for the result. We do not discuss a possible opponent in the quarterfinal match, for us the main thing now is the match with the hosts, to which we should approach well. We will play against the full stadium of the Russians, "added Alcantara.
The 1/8 final between Spain and Russia will take place on July 1.
