World Cup 2018: 4 European teams left the tournament, another 10 continue the fight

UEFA lost four representatives out of 14.

The day before the completion of the group stage of the World Cup, it became known that the struggle at this stage was stopped by four European teams.

The last places in their qualifying groups were taken by Iceland and Germany, Serbia became the third, and Poland takes the last place until the end, losing the chances of passing on.

From group G Belgium and England already guaranteed a way out, and in group H it will be argued by the representatives of Asia (Japan), South America (Colombia) and Africa (Senegal).

The tournament started 14 teams that are members of UEFA. Russia, Portugal, Spain, France, Denmark, Croatia, Switzerland, Sweden, England and Belgium continue their journey.

Note that just three of the eight pairs of 1/8 finals are made up of European teams. Only a pair of Brazil - Mexico formed without a representative of UEFA.
