In the next season, Milan will not be able to play in European competition because of violations of the financial fair play.

Milan expelled from the Europa League for the coming season. This is one of the most severe penalties for violating the financial fair play.

This happened after Milan offered to UEFA two agreements.

"The club was suspended from participating in the European Cup competition, in which it could play for the next two seasons (t. for the seasons 2018/19 or 2019/20, depending on the qualification, "- says the statement of UEFA.

"The decision can be appealed in the Sports Arbitration Court. The full text of the decision will be published in the near future on the official website of UEFA ".

Milan in the current campaign took sixth place in Serie A, which gives the right to play in the group stage of the League of Europe. Now instead of "Rosso Neri" there will play Atalanta, and Fiorentina will try to get into the tournament through qualification.

If Milan breaks into the European cups for the 2018/19 season, he will theoretically be able to play there if he passes the check on compliance with the rules of the FPP.

The club intends to appeal to a sports arbitration court.
