Australian midfielder Tim Cahill set a national record.

Coming to replace the 53rd minute instead of Tomi Juric, Tim Cahill became the first Australian player to play at four world championships.

38-year-old Cahill took part in the finals of the world championships in 2006, 2010, 2014 and 2018.

The match against the national team of Peru was 109 for the national team for Tim, and he repeated the national record of goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer.
