Football. ua made a compilation of statistical facts from Opta, which were commemorated matches Colombia - Japan, Poland - Senegal and Russia - Egypt.

1 - Thiago Sionek - the first Pole, who scored in his own net at the World Championships.

50% - Senegal won 50% of its matches at the World Cup (3/6). This is the best indicator among all African nations.

176 - Carlos Sanchez from Colombia only needed 176 seconds to earn a red card. This is the second result in the history of the World Cup, the record belongs to Jose Alberto Batista of Uruguay, who in 1986 played just 56 seconds against Scotland.
