Sampdoria appointed Walter Sabatini as technical director of the club.

The former technical director of Roma and Inter Walter Sabatini will perform similar duties in Sampdoria.

"I am proud to announce the appointment of a new technical director of the club," the president of the club Massimo Ferrero quotes the official website of the Genoese club. "Now Walter Sabatini is a member of our family".

Last season, Sabatini was responsible for the transfer policy of two clubs - Inter and Jiangsu Sunin, but left his post in March.
