In a matter of hours before the fight with the Spanish national team, the Portuguese leader Cristiano Ronaldo learned the final verdict of the court on his charge of non-payment of taxes.
As it became known, Cristiano recognized his own guilt, in connection with which he was sentenced to two years in prison. Since earlier Ronaldo was not brought to criminal responsibility, the Spanish representatives of Themis decided to limit themselves to the conditional term. Thus, the forward of Real Madrid will not go to prison.
Nevertheless, Ronaldo must pay a serious fine of 18.8 million euros.
Previously, Cristiano said that the Portuguese team is going to beat Spain.
