Napoli's striker Dries Mertens admitted that he had the opportunity to move to China.

Forward Napoli Dris Mertens noted that he refused to move to China, because his wife does not want to live in the Middle Kingdom.

"I had the opportunity to move to China, where I could earn twice as much as the whole previous career, but my wife does not want to live there, so I will never play there," said Mertens.

In the past season, 31-year-old Mertens held for Napoli 47 games in all tournaments, which scored 21 goals and gave nine assists.
