Cagliari officially announced the new coach of the team Rolando Marana, who last season worked with Chievo.

The contract with the coach, fired by "flying donkeys" for several rounds before the finish of the Italian championship, is calculated for two years - from July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2020.

In the season-2017/2018 Cagliari only in the last round guaranteed himself a place in Serie A and finished in 16th place. Negotiations with the islanders are conducted by the ex-captain Shakhtar Dario Srna.
