For participation in the group stage "miners" will receive 15.25 million euros.

An even greater part is due to Shakhtar for the high rating of the club. At the moment the "miners" occupy the 12th place in the club rating of UEFA, but among the participants of the Champions League they are the tenth (Chelsea and Arsenal made their way only to the Europa League).

For this, Shakhtar will receive 25 million 484 thousand euros. Moreover, the "miners" may turn out to be the ninth, if Benfica can not qualify. In this case, the Donetsk club will receive 26 million 592 thousand euros.

Also, the Donetsk team can receive a substantial portion of the prize money: 2.7 million euros for each victory and 900 thousand for a draw. For the exit from the group of UEFA will additionally transfer to each club 9.5 million euros.
