Head coach of the Ukrainian national team Andriy Shevchenko spoke with reporters before the first training session on French soil.

- Please, summarize the results of the first half of this collection.

- Everything went well, the planned training program was completed. The only thing that is insulting is the injuries of some players who were somewhat beaten out for fulfilling certain intentions. It is a pity, because the guys had the opportunity to show themselves in the team, but the injuries, unfortunately, did not allow it to be done.

In the end, in France we gathered in a combat formation: Ruslan Malinovsky joined us today, which is nice. All those present in the camp of the national team in Evian are preparing for two control matches. Today we will practice, tomorrow we will be adjusted to the first friendly match during this gathering.

- Have you considered replacing injured players?.

- It was difficult to do because the players either got injured during the gathering, or already arrived with injuries. The season is over, the clubs let their players on vacation. In general, we managed to find an alternative to the injured, because we have performers who can play in different positions. So with the team everything is fine.

- What assessment would you give to your closest rival - the Moroccan national team, where the leaders are Benatya from Juventus, Harit from Schalke and the former player of Kiev Dynamo Belkhanda? The strength of this team in the collective game or in the skill of individual performers?.

- Obviously, we have different goals. Morocco is preparing for the World Cup, and I do not know what the task will put in front of their wards in tomorrow's match, the head coach of the Moroccans. We are preparing for September. We have two friendly meetings, which, first of all, will help to recall the principles of the game that we profess, to restore the structure, to play together again, because this year the team played a few matches.

Therefore, during the last week we have worked very fruitfully on all the moments of the team game that we want to see. I would like to see that tomorrow these developments have already been discovered in the game.

In Morocco, this is a good team - such aggressive, prickly, sporting evil. The Moroccans act more vertically, not focusing their efforts on holding the ball.

They have good performers - the ones you called. They are the leaders of the team. However, I repeat, much will depend on the decision of the head coach - that it will be important for him tomorrow, what tasks will put before his charges.

We work on our program. For me the main thing is that the criteria that will be given tomorrow at the installation, the players tried to move to the field.

- Does your work schedule on the day of the match not provide for training?.

- No.

Tomorrow morning there will be a walk, after which we will go directly to preparing and setting up the game. The stadium is at a distance of 50 km from our hotel, there is little traffic, so we'll see and determine how long before the game should be left to get to Geneva as soon as possible.
