Ex-Juventus defender Stefan Lichtsteiner next season will play for Arsenal.

Arsenal and Switzerland defender Stefan Lichtsteiner agreed on the terms of the one-year contract, Gazzetta dello Sport. Officially, the agreement, calculated before June 30, 2019, will be announced in the near future.

During his career, the 34-year-old defender competed for Grasshopper (90 matches, 4 goals in all tournaments), Lille (113, 6), Lazio (117, 3) and Juventus (257, 15).

After the decision to leave Juventus, Lichtsteiner intended to move to Borussia D, but it was not possible to agree with the "bumblebees".
