Representatives of Maurizio Sarri reached an agreement in principle with the leadership of Chelsea that he will replace Antonio Conte on the coaching bridge of "pensioners".

In London, negotiations took place, at which representatives of Maurizio Sarri discussed with Chelsea the possibility of concluding a contract and reached a principled agreement on this issue, reports Sky Sports..

However, no official statements and signing of documents will not be at least until June 1, since the expiry date of the ex-coach Napoli's contract expires on May 31, compensation of 8 million euros, which will have to be paid in favor of the Neapolitans, if some foreign club concludes a contract with Sarri.

Another problem for the Blues is that Antonio Conte after winning the FA Cup said that he intends to work out his contract until the end (another year), and if Chelsea decides to fire him, he will have to pay the coach 20 million euros compensation.

It is interesting that in the 2006/06 season, Sarri replaced Conte at Arezzo's coaching post (Series B) in October 2006, and on March 13, 2007, there was a reverse castling.
