The head coach of the Olympic season summed up the season and told about the reasons for the spring failures, the club's transfer policy in the summer and the upcoming Champions League final.

- Looking back, the season can be divided into two parts - before the winter break and after?.

- Of course, these are absolutely different parts of the season. If we recall the preparations for the season, it took us a lot of guys, despite the fact that we went to the Europa League. Already literally ten days before the start of the championship, Moha and Bogdanov returned to us, Shabanov and Kravchenko. These guys greatly strengthened our team. It is with the arrival of these players and this positive result is connected in the first round.

In the winter off-season we lost 13 players, all leaders left. This could not not be displayed on our game, so the second part of the season turned out to be more severe. We had a completely new team, we were not able to get into the top six, although the chances were. And then, after losing a number of matches, the team gained uncertainty in their abilities and during the championship we were in a situation where the question was about getting into the play-offs. It was impossible to admit this, so the guys fellows, gathered and saved a residence permit in the Premier League. This year is positive in the sense that we all gained a lot of experience.

- The loss of leaders in the winter is the main reason for the unsuccessful appearances in the spring?.

- The most important factor - the loss of skeleton and the arrival of a large number of new players. The new skeleton had to be built already in the championship. There are guys who corresponded to our tasks, and there are those who really did not pull. Plus, some players came already when the second part of the season began. This Balashov, and Vukovich, and Zakharkiv. While they master, will be adapted, understand the requirements. But there is no time, there are matches. This is probably the most difficult.

Plus, of course, it's very difficult to work when there are no fields. Olimpic always has a problem with this at the beginning of the spring period. We work on synthetic coatings, but we play on real lawns. This also hits the team - injuries, quite a different load. In this there are certain difficulties. But the key, nevertheless, was the departure of the backbone of our team.

- Many say that in the spring, in the first place, Olympic did not have enough of a leader in the team, a person who would unite everyone and lead. Do you agree with this?.

- Of course, therefore I listed Mohu, Bogdanov, Kravchenko, Shabanov. They became leaders in a short period of time. They led the game from the inside. In the second round he tried to take on the leadership burden of Sergei Vakulenko, he did it. But still, our potential has become less, it was not enough to win victories.

- What is the most memorable match for you in the season?.

- There were heavy games where we lost, were good, where we won. In the second round I liked the game in Lviv with the Carpathians, when we won. However, I consider the key game with Chernomorets at home, when after a series of setbacks it was very difficult for us to adjust the guys to positive. In this match, the guys gathered, this game was extremely important. If we played unsuccessfully, then there was the last tour, it would be hard. This antipsychology would evolve, we could actually get into the play-offs, which we did not want to admit. Therefore, I am very happy that the guys in such a principled match were able to win the victory.

- A match in which your team disappointed you the most.

- I can not name a specific match. These matches were enough, mainly in the second round. I was upset after we could not keep the victory in the game with Dawn. Very bad we played on the road with Zirka. But I can not single out a particular match.

- In the last season, the Olympians regularly selected points from the grandees. In this championship four defeats in four meetings. Why is that?.

- In order to select points from the grandees, you need to play at the maximum of your abilities. Plus, the game should have a high mutual understanding and organization. And when players often change, it is very difficult to achieve this. Plus psychology should be appropriate. This year it was not enough.

- Name the player who made the greatest progress in the past season.

- I think that in the first round, those guys who moved to other clubs. This is Artem Shabanov, who became a Dynamo player. Moha left us for a good club. Andrei Bogdanov left for Poland, Anton Kravchenko - for Turkey. These transitions emphasize the work that the guys have done. Noticed a group of these players.

- And who disappointed you most?.

- I do not want to say that someone disappointed me. There are guys who, in their potential, do not reach the tasks that we set for ourselves. It can not be said that this is a disappointment. No, this is work, the usual process. But I would not call specific names anyway.

- What will be the transfer policy of Olympic this summer?.

- On how the Olympic will work in the off-season, depends on how we will play in the next championship. I think that we need qualified football players who will be able to provide the tasks that we set ourselves. I think we will have big changes. What they will be - we will look further when the work begins.

- Will the club still have to resort to lease agreements?.

- I think we will have to do it. Because qualified players who will be without a club, very few.

- Which line are you most worried about now?.

- Attack line, first of all.

- You have repeatedly argued that good players can be found in the first league. Watch this tournament?.

- I follow very carefully for the first league. There are guys who impress me. But so far we will not talk about names, it's too early. Now we have to go through the play-offs. The one with whom we will talk depends on how these matches will be played.

- The contracts are coming to an end with two experienced team goalkeepers - Zauri Makharadze and Artem Kichak. They will not remain on the team?.

- Zauri signed a preliminary contract with Zarei, he moves to the Lugansk club. With Artem Kichak held a preliminary conversation, we want to see him in our team. We will go to the negotiating table.

- What is the fate of the leased football players - Zurab Ochigava and Sergei Vakulenko?.

- We will talk with all the guys. We learn what plans they have.

- The decision on those players who leave the team in the summer or will be put on the transfer, have already accepted?.

- Of course, I already have an understanding. But more precise specifics will be already when we meet. We will hold a gathering at which we will play some matches. There I will determine who will stay and who will not.

- If we talk about youth, who made the greatest impression on you?.

- I would mention Igor Snurnitsyn. A young guy who is entrenched in our core team. I like his work in training. I liked that despite his age, he coped with the pressure in those matches in which he participated, did not worry. For his age, he practically did not make mistakes working with or without the ball. I like his psychology, so I would note his progress.

- What will the Olympic preparation for the new season be this year?.

- We, probably, will operate approximately according to the same plan, which was in effect a year ago. We will gather in Kiev, we will work there for a week. Then, perhaps, we'll go to Kharkov, to Metalist's base. There we will hold a two-week gathering, and a week before the start of the championship we will return to Kiev.

- How do you feel about the Carpathian proposal not to play matches in the winter period?.

- There is a double-edged sword. Teams, like Olimpic, I would like to leave the winter matches, because we do not have heated fields. But on the other hand there are teams that participate in the Champions League, they start the European Cups early. They want the championship to resume earlier, in order to be in good shape and to represent our country in euroarena. For us, of course, it would be more convenient that these matches were not, but you need to understand the grants that are trying to raise the level of Ukrainian football.

- Ahead of vacation. How do you plan to hold it?.

- First time I will be in Kiev, and then with my family we will go to Turkey. I want to relax, reboot, get bored of work. Because the season was really hard, you need to gain strength, so that in the new season with a desire and dedication to start working again.

- The Champions League final will be held in Kiev. Are you planning to attend this match?.

- Most likely, I will watch it at home on TV.

- Who is more sympathetic - Klopp or Zidane?.

- I prefer football Jurgen Klopp.

- What team and which coach work in this European season impressed you the most?.

- Impresses the way Jurgen Klopp and Diego Simeone work. Well, this year Manchester City Pep Guardiola showed impressive results in the English Championship. They scored so many points, showed this result. Therefore, the work of Guardiola was very successful this year.
