Zauri Makharadze's goalkeeper Zauri Makharadze decided to compete for the national team of Georgia.

Olympic goalkeeper Zauri Makharadze changed Ukrainian citizenship to Georgian and received a challenge to the Georgian team, the official website of the Olympic.

Zauri was born in the city of Balta in the Odessa region and played for various youth teams of Ukraine. Nevertheless, at an adult level, Makharadze decided to represent Georgia, where his father was born and raised.



The 25-year-old goalkeeper received a call to collect the national team, during which the Georgians will hold two friendly matches - against Malta (June 1) and Luxembourg (June 5).

In the season that ended Makharadze held for Olympique 26 matches, in which he missed 33 goals and kept the gate "dry" nine times.
