Now, the former owner of Sunderland, Ellis Short, sold the "black cats" for 40 million pounds.

After Sunderland descended from the Premier League to League One in two seasons, the owner of the club, Texan billionaire Ellis Short, lost interest in him and sold for ? 40 million, having previously paid off all the debts of the "black cats".

The new owner of the club was Stuart Donald, behind which there is an international consortium. Donald previously owned the club of the National League Eastley, which now took over the board members.

In the near future, 43-year-old Donald promised to name the successor to Chris Coleman, dismissed from his post as coach at the end of April.
