Earlier there was information that in the next season in the Premier League will play FC Lviv, instead of Veresa or teaming up with him.

Now the leadership of Veresa reported on the division of the club into two, one of which will return to Rivne and start performing in the Second League, and the second will play in the ULP under the name FC Lviv.

"Veres People's Club since the moment of its revival has become a bright phenomenon in Ukrainian football. In just three years we together have gone from zero in professional football to the first six of the Premier League. This was made possible through hard work, lack of fear of high tasks and close cooperation of the People's Club and "Limo". Together we created a fairy tale.

Unfortunately, the development of Veresa significantly outstripped the development of the football industry of the Rivne region. Therefore, Veres was forced to move. We did everything to make the "red-black" feel comfortable in Lviv. This season, although it was bright and interesting, but showed a number of problems. A significant part of the fans of Rivne region can not attend the matches of their favorite team in two hundred kilometers from the house.

Therefore, a joint decision was taken to return the Veres National Club in Rivne. The current team, which has the right to appear in the Ukrainian Premier League, will be renamed the Football Club of Lviv.

"I personally find it strange to read about the alleged renaming of Veresa. Veres folk club is a unique success story, with a whole army of dedicated fans all over Ukraine. For this story to continue successfully, we need to support the team even more and more faithfully and make every possible effort to reconstruct the Avangard stadium as quickly as possible in Rivne ".
