Benfica signed goalkeeper Odysseus Vlachodimos from Panathinaikos.

German goalkeeper Odysseus Vlachodimos will continue his career with Benfica, the official website of the "eagles".

24-year-old Vlachodimos signed a five-year contract with the Portuguese club. The amount of the transfer was about 2.5 million euros.

Odysseus is a pupil of Stuttgart, and moved to the Greek club in the winter of 2016.

Last season, Vlachodimos held for Panathinaikos 31 matches in all tournaments, in which he missed 27 goals and kept his goal "dry" 14 times.
