The Portuguese edition of O Jogo assures that Paulo Fonseca signed a new agreement with the "miners".

Paulo Fonseca decided to continue working in Shakhtar, says O Jogo. According to the publication, Paulo extended the contract with the "miners" for two years.

The source also leads the salary of Fonseca - 4 million euros per season.

Paulo Fonseca in the summer of 2016 was replaced in the miner Mircea Lucescu, who coached the "miners" 12 years.

The Portuguese immediately managed to return the championship to the Donetsk team, adding to this the Cup of Ukraine. In the current season, he again led the team to the gold double.

Together with Fonseca Shakhtar went to the 1/8 finals of the Champions League, where he lost to Roma on the rule of an away goal (2: 1, 0: 1).

A few days ago, The Telegraph reported that Fonseca had a meeting with the leadership of West Ham. And in the course of the season the Portuguese was associated with Everton. Interestingly, today these two clubs were left without coaches - West Ham announced that it would not renew the contract with David Moyes, and Everton terminated the contract with Sam Allardyce.
