Acting head coach Levante Paco Lopez was confirmed as the team coach for the season 2018/19.

Levante approved Paco Lopez as head coach of the first team, said the official website of the club.

The 50-year-old specialist signed the contract until the end of the next season with the option of renewing for another year.

Lopez, who previously worked with the youth team, temporarily took over the duties of head coach in early March, when after a fifteen-game losing streak the club's leadership fired Juan Ramon Lopez Muniz.

Since then, Levante has scored more points than the whole season before, winning seven games, and one more time playing a draw and losing.

For two rounds before the end of the season Levante takes the 16th position in the standings and has already secured a residence permit in La Liga for the next season.
