Goalkeeper Tim Horn extended his contract with Cologne and is ready to play for the "goats" in the Second Bundesliga.

Cologne extended the contract with his goalkeeper Timo Horn until 2023, the official website of the club.

"Goats" will leave the Bundesliga following the results of the current season, but only last week Horn said that he is not going to leave the club. Now the German has consolidated his words with a new deal.

"I am confident that we will return to the Bundesliga as soon as possible, so I decided to stay in Cologne," said Horn.

Horn is a pupil of Cologne, joined at the age of nine. For the first team, he made his debut in the season 2012/13 and since then the 24-year-old goalkeeper played 203 matches in which he missed 233 goals.

In the current season, Horn played for Cologne 41 matches in all tournaments, which missed 73 goals and kept his goal "dry" seven times.
