Former player of the national team of Ukraine Edmar got employed in the football club Hurricane.

Club of the American semi-professional league UPSL Hurricane signed a contract with the former midfielder of the Ukrainian national team Edmar.

"This is a new stage in my life. I am glad that I can still do what I love, play football and be one of the managers in the team in the United States, "wrote Edmar on his page in Instagram.

In the American club 37-year-old native of Brazil will be not only a player, but also an ambassador of the club in Eastern Europe. In addition, he will seek and develop talents from Ukraine and Russia, as well as help American players move to professional East European clubs.

His experience will benefit FC Hurricane, "- reads a statement on the club's official website.

Edmar spent 15 matches for the national team of Ukraine, and also played over 300 fights for Tavria, Metalist and Dnepr.

For Hurricane also stands another former Metalist player, 36-year-old Ukrainian defender Sergei Pshenichnykh.
