Graham Murthy resigned as head coach of the Rangers.

Merthy led the Rangers in the course of the season and had to finalize until the end, but left the team for three rounds before the completion of the Scottish Championship.

The reason for this was a devastating defeat in the derby from Celtic (0: 5), which allowed the "Celts" to register the seventh consecutive championship.

As reported by Sky Sports, at this point the Rangers are actively negotiating with Gerrard. The club hopes that it is Liverpool's legend that will replace Merthy at the helm of the team.
