The contract Giovinco with Toronto expires in 2019 and the club has not yet been in a hurry to extend it. However, according to Calciomercato, Giovinco has spare options. Interest in the "Atomic Ant" is shown by Mexican clubs.

"I already started talking about this, but the club that now is not the time for this," - said Toronto Sun's Giovinco this week.

"For them it's not a problem, but for me - there's little. I want to know my future. I have a family and I'm 31 ".

"Considering what I did for the city, I deserve it, do not I?

" I already said that I want to stay forever here. If not, then I need to think about other options ".

Giovinco moved to Toronto in 2015 and became one of the best MLS players. He scored 69 goals in 115 championship games.

Sebastian helped the team for the first time in history win the MLS in 2017. Also the Canadians reached the North American Champions League final. However, Giovinco's goal in the second leg did not save the team from defeat on penalties from Chivas.
