If Southampton wins a victory in Saturday's match against Chelsea, Mark Hughes will be only the third coach in the history of the Premier League, who was able to beat the "retired" at the head of four different teams - Blackburn, Manchester City, Stoke City and now the "saints".

Previously, it was possible to Roy Hodgson (Blackburn, Liverpool, West Bromwich and Crystal Palace) and Sam Allardyce (Bolton, West Ham, Sunderland and Crystal Palace).

If Southampton loses, then Hughes will become only the second coach who lost three times to the same team in one season of the Premier League championship. While this was only possible to Graeme Souness, three times conceded to the Arsenal, heading Blackburn and Newcastle.
