President of Dynamo Igor Surkis commented on the technical defeat of the Ukrainian national team U-17.

UEFA counted the Ukrainian national team U-17 technical defeat in the match against the Serbs. Recall that the coaching staff team played disqualified players in the match of the elite round of the qualifying tournament Euro-2018 against Serbia.

President Dynamo gave his assessment of the performances of Dynamo for the national teams of Ukraine in an interview with the official website of Kiev.

- To the performances of our players for the teams we always treated with all responsibility. Dynamo has always been the base team of national teams of all ages and, I hope, will remain it in the future. The interests of Ukrainian football for us have always been on the first place, we understand that we are preparing players not only for the club, but also to protect the football honor of Ukraine. In the history of Dynamo Kyiv there has never been a case in which the interests of the club were placed above the interests of the national team. This is our philosophy, our conviction, our principle, which we have never changed. We are ready to give the team everything we need - players, fields, base ... We understand the importance of the performance of the Ukrainian national team in the international arena.

- Are you satisfied with how the Ukrainian national teams played their last matches?.

- The teams had different tasks - if the national team simply conducted control games, then the teams of the young men solved important tournament tasks - they fought for the right to play at the European Championships. I do not intend to criticize the work of the coaches of the national team, they know better, but if guided by elementary logic, it is difficult to understand why the players who could significantly strengthen Alexander Golovko's team before the most important match against England, played with empty stands or sat on the bench when their peers confronted one of the strongest teams in Europe? If Besedin, Tsygankov, Zinchenko, Matvienko played in Sheffield, maybe our guys would not have lost. But this is my personal opinion - I support all the teams, and it seems to me that the official match, albeit at the youth level, would bring more benefits to the named players. And it so happened that for the sake of the ordinary control game Ukraine practically lost the chance for the first time in its history to compete for a ticket to the Olympics.

- But after all, the headquarters of the national team has a certain strategy aimed at future successes?.

- What strategy, when this future is destroyed before our eyes? Do you think what is happening in the hearts of young players of the U-17 team who won a fair and dramatic fight ticket to the European Championship, and then it turned out that they will not go there because of the looseness of the employees of the Ukrainian Football Federation? How to explain to boys that adult uncles messed up in the documents, and now they do not go anywhere, but go those whom they beat on the football field? After all, this chance can only be once in your life! Who will answer for this?.

- Why do you think this has become possible?.

- You know, I remember times when the Football Federation was huddled in a few rented rooms with a toilet at the end of the corridor, when only a few people worked there. But they were people devoted to football, people who simply could not make such a mistake! Do you want my opinion? I think that now in the federation of football is not that they think. At first, everyone was engaged in Lausanne, and then, probably, went to celebrate their success in Marbella. There was no one to follow the documents that come by mail from UEFA. Just open and see in time. And then tell the team's coaches that such and such players are not allowed to play. This is elementary!.

- Are not the coaches responsible for this?.

- Coaches everywhere - in the national team and in clubs - are engaged in the training of players. In the federation there is a whole committee of national teams headed by Miron Markevich, who must deal with all procedural issues. I remember that it was like that before. What and who is currently engaged in - I can not imagine! Maybe education is not enough for people? Maybe the diplomas are not right?.

- What responsibility do you think should be incurred by people whose negligence took the right to play at the European Championships?.

- You know, I'm not thinking about this right now. I think that to speak to the guys, since in that team of Dynamo - half the composition. How can they explain what happened? How to make you believe in justice? You see, I personally invest in these guys my whole soul. I try to create all conditions for training, life and everything else. And the leaders of other clubs, I think, do the same. This, among other things, costs money! And after that the federation, which should unite all this, simply spits us in the soul, negates the years of work ... Well, how could you not see the obvious? Do not make elementary? You know how difficult it is to find a talented boy now. How to persuade him to abandon children's joys and give himself away to football! Teach and bring to the level of the European Championship! They are children! They must believe us, otherwise nothing will happen! And how will they believe us after what happened? It's not just a scandal - it's an indicator of blatant unprofessionalism!.

- And what to do with it?.

- And what can we do? We work, we prepare football players, we spend all our energy and energy on it. And in the federation sit people who simply dispose of what others have created. You know who now heads the regional federations, who is in the executive committee, how they were elected! Are there many of them who have prepared at least one player for the national team? Sometimes it seems to me that they do not quite understand where they got. They do not understand that the building of Ukrainian football, including the house where they sit, was built by the efforts of many generations. And how do they know? I do not want to blame everyone who works in the federation. There, I think, there are competent and professional people. Probably, the problem is, who and what sets them tasks. Stavitak, that there is no one to follow the competence of players playing for national teams!.

- Do you think that everything is so bad?.

- I think that in the life of each of us there was a mistake that caused us to look at ourselves differently, to understand what you are doing wrong, to draw conclusions, in order to change and not to allow such things ever again. And now in the life of our football there has come a moment when it is necessary to stop and think: where are we going? will the next generations of Ukrainian football players have the chance to play at the European or world championships, at the Olympic Games? This can and should be done in the fall, when we lost the qualifying tournament. Remember, then was the error analysis done? Were the perpetrators of the national team guilty? Nothing like this! You are on the right road, comrades! Here they come. I do not think that in the situation with the U-17 team it is necessary to search and punish the "switchman". We understand that this is not a method.

It is necessary to change the very attitude of the Ukrainian Football Federation to its work. To FFU, in the person of its leader, realized that it is not going there. That at least not spoiled what is done by football-dedicated people. Did not take away the dream of our young players. We do not want the labor of thousands of people to go nuts because of the turmoil that now reigns in the House of Football. We are always ready to help, prompt, teach, if necessary. To no longer laughed at us, and our children did not weep for resentment for injustice.
