For a long time, the forward was the idol of Villa fans and the symbol of the team, but two years ago Agbonlahor had serious discipline problems that led to the catastrophic decline of his game form.

The club from Birmingham almost broke up with Gabriel in the spring of 2016, when the striker went to a stormy party right on the day of the team's departure to the Championship. Then the player still did not leave the team, but this season will be the last for Agbonlahor in Aston Villa.

Since the departure of the Birmingham in the second most powerful division in England, Gabriel scored just two goals, earning 28 thousand euros a week. Thus, each of the forward's balls cost the "villans" about one and a half million euros.

Total Agbonlahor held for Aston Villa 17 seasons, for which he managed to play 363 games and score 85 goals.
