Head Coach Arsenal Arsene Wenger is confident that midfielder Jack Wilshere is worthy of the captain's armband.
Wenger is confident that Wilshire has earned the right to be captain of Arsenal, although a midfielder can leave the club in the summer.
Wilshire was raised in the Arsenal system from the age of nine. In the current campaign, the 26-year-old Jack is not as affected as before, he is injured - he has already played 31 matches for the "Gunners" in all tournaments this season.
"Wilshire was actually born here," Wenger said..
"He has a long history of relationships and close ties with the club. In addition, Jack - the leader in terms of the mood for the game, and in the tactical ".
"I think that the combination of history, the terms of his stay at the club, experience and knowledge is enough to entrust Jack with a captain's armband".
So far Wilshire can not get along with Arsenal under the terms of the new contract.
Interest in Jack is attributed to Milan and Juventus, who would like to get a player for free.
