Donetsk club for the fifth time in a row defeated its rival in the championship of Ukraine.

On the eve of the "miners" dealt with Mariupol with a score of 3: 0, while taking the historic achievement.

This victory was for the Donetsk team the fifth in a row with a difference of at least three goals.

Thus, Shakhtar established a new record of the Ukrainian championship in the number of major victories - earlier the miners themselves and Dynamo managed to get only four consecutive victories with a devastating score.

In addition to Mariupol, Shakhtar defeated Chernomorets (5-0), Zirk (5-0), Karpaty (3-0) and Vorskla (3-0).

At the moment, the "miners" are in the lead in the standings of the ULE, ahead of the Dynamo by 6 points.
