Ivan Savvidi forced the referee team to experience not the best emotions.

On the eve of the Greek championship there was a huge scandal. The fight between PAOK and AEK had to be interrupted after a real mess began on the field.

In one of the episodes PAOK managed to score a goal, but the referee brigade canceled the goal, fixing the player Mauricio owners offside.

This decision of the main referee Georgios Cominis led to the fact that PAOK players refused to continue the match and made a fight with the players of the opponent directly on the field, which was joined by the president of the club from Thessaloniki, Ivan Savvidi.

According to eyewitnesses, Savvidi, who had a pistol on his belt, poured threats into the referees' brigade, and then spoke to one of the leaders of the AEK, Vasilis Dimitriadis: "Now you're a dead man".

After a lengthy consultation, the judges decided to count the goal and the score was 1: 0 in favor of PAOK, but the AEK players refused to finish the match, fearing for their own safety.
