Monaco will not be able to count on striker Pietro Pellegri in the next six weeks.

Pellegri underwent surgery on the groin. Official website of Monaco reported that Pietro will miss six weeks.

16-year-old Pellegri moved to Monaco in January this year from Genoa for 25 million euros.

Interest in the Italian was attributed to Juventus, Milan and Inter.

So far, Pietro is losing the competition to Radamel Falcao, Balde Keith and Stevan Jovetic, having played just four minutes in League 1.
