The official website of the national teams of the Netherlands reported that ex-football player Ajax, Inter and Real Madrid Wesley Sneijder announced the completion of his career in the national team of the country.

This decision, the 33-year-old took after meeting with the new coach of the Netherlands team Ronald Kuman.

At the moment, Sneijder plays in the Qatar Championship for Al Gharafa.

In the national team of the Netherlands, Wesley played for the first time in 2003 and since then he has held 133 matches, which marked 31 goals. Sneijder helped the team reach the finals of the 2010 World Cup and the semifinals of the 2014 World Cup.
