Winger PSG Neimar will soon undergo surgery.
The Brazilian striker suffered a fracture of the metatarsal bone in the duel of the French championship against Marseille (3: 0).
As reported by Sky Sports, Neimar arrived in the clinic, which is located in the Brazilian city of Belo Horizonte. The operation will be conducted under the supervision of the Brazilian national team surgeon Rodrigo Lasmara.
It is expected that the procedure will last from 60 to 90 minutes.
At the moment, the physicians of PSG are working together with colleagues from the Brazilian national team to ensure the speedy recovery of Neimar and his participation in the World Cup-2018.
Winger is guaranteed to miss a return match against Real Madrid in the 1/8 finals of the Champions League, as well as the March friendly matches of the Brazilian national team against Germany and Russia.
This season, Neimar scored 28 goals in 30 games for PSG in all tournaments.
