After the expiration of Grigory Surkis' authority in the UEFA Executive Committee, his place may be taken by FFU President Andrei Pavelko.

The FFU Executive Committee nominated Andrei Pavelko for the UEFA Executive Committee, the Football Channel 1.

Elections in the executive committee will be held in February next year.

Prior to this Ukraine in the executive committee of UEFA will be represented by Grigory Surkis.

Surkis, who since 2013 is the vice-president of UEFA, will not be able to hold a post in this organization. The reason was the change in the statute of UEFA, according to which the UEFA Executive Committee can only include active members of national associations.
