Forward Olarenvaju Kayode will play for Donetsk in the second half of the season of the Ukrainian Premier League.

24-year-old Nigerian striker, whose contract belongs to Manchester City, was rented by "miners" - the official website of the Donetsk club.

Earlier Olarenvaju defended the colors of such teams as the Swiss Lucerne, Israeli Maccabi and Austrian Austriya. In the latter he became the top scorer of the Austrian Championship.

In August 2017, Kayode signed a 4-year contract with Manchester City, after which the "townspeople" immediately sent him to rent in Girona.

In the Spanish club, things went wrong for Olarenvaju.

He played in the example of just 414 minutes for 12 matches, mostly going on to replace. During this time, Kayode has not distinguished himself with any scored ball, but managed to give two assists.

The lease agreement with the Miner is calculated until the end of this season and includes an option for redemption.
