Alexandria's head coach Vladimir Sharan noted that Zirka's representatives did not consult their club before asking them to post a full-time team meeting.
Directorate of the ULP decided to postpone the fight of the twenty-second round between Zirka and Alexandria because of the snow.
"Four days ago our representative visited the Zirka Stadium in Kropiwnicki, and even then the state of readiness of the field for the game aroused fears. The heating of the field was not turned on. The field was frozen and not covered with a protective film. To the astonishment of our representative, the officer Zirka responded in this way - we will not cover the film, for it is better that the snow should lie on top, "said Sharan.
"Now Zirka asked to postpone the meeting - supposedly because of the weather. I consulted today with the infrastructure director of our club Alexander Leonidovich Sakara, and he answered me - if this match was held in Alexandria, it would take place, because we switched on the heating on February 9, and the field under the film. In the Premier League, it's no secret that the heating of the field in Kropiwnicki is rather doubtful. I do not know if these are technical problems, or maybe they just save it ".
"It is unfortunate that the match was postponed without agreement with us - Zirka individually appealed to the directorate of the ULP. It is noteworthy that both the president of the club and I were not against the match held on Saturday, March 3 in Alexandria ".
"Remember, on February 24 at a match against Mariupol, weather conditions were also not pleasant. But the field was properly cared for and prepared by him a few weeks before this match - and this allowed players to demonstrate technical football ".
"Okay, we'll play on Tuesday. But again, it is a pity that, firstly, the ULP did not consult our club.
And secondly, look - across all Ukraine now snowfalls, and all the stadiums where the matches will be held, ready for the competition. One Zirka was not ready. Alexandria put a lot of effort to save the field, and in the regional center we watch on television weak attempts to improve the situation. Very strange story ".
Note that now the match should be held on Tuesday, March 6. Beginning of the meeting at 14:00 Kyiv time.
