Head coach Atalanta Gian Piero Gasperini believes that the referee mistakenly appointed a penalty to the gate of his team in the match against Juvenutsa.
In the second leg of the semi-finals of the Italian Cup Juventus at home beat Atalanta thanks to the goal of Miralale Pjanici from the penalty spot.
"It's a pity, because there was no penalty there. We have created a lot of problems for Juventus, and they have an excellent and very strong team, "- said Gasperini.
"It's never easy to play against such defense as Juventus, but we showed good football and should not be disappointed".
"Now we must concentrate all our energy on the last 13 games of the season in Serie A".
After 25 matches, Atalanta scored 38 points and takes eighth place in the Serie A standings.
