Union of European Football Associations announced a verdict for French midfielder Samir Nasri for violating anti-doping rules: six months of disqualification.

"Player Samir Nasri was found guilty of violating the World Anti-Doping Code and the anti-doping rules of UEFA," reads the statement of the organization.

"Therefore, the CEDB (control and ethical disciplinary body) decided to disqualify Nasri for six months".

"The decision was made on February 22 and may be appealed".

In 2016, Nasri poured blood in the American clinic DripDoctors.

With this procedure, you can hide the traces of doping and drugs in the body. Instead of the permissible 50 milliliters Frenchman poured a liter of blood.

We can say that Nasri got off with a slight fright, because initially he was threatened with four years of disqualification.

In the first part of this season, Nasri played for Antalyaspor, noting in 8 matches of the Turkish Super League 2 goals and an assistant. Recently, the Turkish club terminated his contract with him.
