The UEFA Executive Committee will increase the prize for 24 national teams that will participate in the final stage of the Euro 2020.

In total, the participants of the European Championship 2020 will receive 371 million euros, which is 70 million more than was distributed between 24 participants in the final stage of Euro 2016.

The funds will be distributed as follows:.

- Each of the 24 teams will receive 9.25 million euros;.

- For the victory in every match of the group stage, the association will receive 1.5 million euros, a draw will bring 750 thousand euros;.

- No additional payments are foreseen in the playoffs for the victory. Each of the participants of the 1/8 finals will receive 2 million euros, quarter-finalists will receive another 3.25 million euros.

The release of the national team in the semifinals will provide an association with another 5 million euros;.

- The loser in the final team will receive 7 million euros, while the winner will get 10 million.

Therefore, if the champion wins all three matches of the group stage, then a total of 34 million euros will be earned. In 2016, this amount was 27 million euros.
