Lazio's head coach Simone Inzaghi hopes that his team will avoid meeting Arsenal or Atletico in the 1/8 finals of the Europa League.

Lazio came in the 1/8 finals of the Europa League thanks to a home win over Steaua with a score of 5: 1.

"Yesterday I told the guys that it would be a great pity to leave the tournament at this stage, so they demonstrated the right attitude to the matter from the first minute," Inzaghi said..

"In every tournament we want to achieve as much as possible, so a busy schedule for us is not a problem, we just welcome it".

"I hope that we will get a good lot in the 1/8 finals. Personally, I hope that we will avoid meeting Arsenal and Atletico ".

The draw for the 1/8 finals of the Europa League 2017/18 will be held on Friday, February 23. Beginning at 14:00 in Kiev time.
