Wolfsburg head coach Martin Schmidt resigned after losing to Bavaria. According to the official website of the "wolves", the leadership accepted the resignation of a specialist.
Schmidt hopes that after his departure Wolfsburg will be able to improve their results and the players will no longer have such pressure.
The name of the new head coach will be announced on Tuesday, February 20.
Schmidt headed Wolfsburg in September 2017. Under his leadership, the team held 19 games, having won 3 wins, 11 tied and suffered five defeats.
